Be inspired by Robin Hood or take a leaf out of Katniss’ book (The Hunger Games) and try your hand at an archery adventure. Grab your quiver and play in the woods… or sign up for a full-on battle!
Get started…
Getting started with archery couldn’t be easier! If you’re not ready to hold a real weapon, you could always reacquaint yourself with the suction cup variety you owned as a kid. In fact, take the kids along with you and introduce them to the sport too!
Head off to a Sherwood Forest (or nearby equivalent) for a walk and channel your inner Robin Hood. Fancy dress optional!
Or, if you’re not even keen to step outside, heading to the pub for a game of darts *might* count…
A little more archery adventure…
For a little more archery adventure you’ll want to have a go with a real bow and arrow. Gather some friends and spend a day at a nearby archery range.
Whilst archery isn’t a big thing everywhere you should be able to find somewhere relatively local to where you live. Just Google “Archery near me“.
Can you hit the bullseye?
Maximum archery adventure!
For maximum archery adventure you should have a go at archery tag.
Archery tag is a cross between paintball and archery. Divide into teams and shoot foam-tipped arrows (instead of paintballs) at your opponents whilst making sure you don’t get hit yourself!
