A quick instagram search on #adventure will show you that a camping adventure is right up there in most people’s vision of adventure!
Sleeping outside is one of the simplest ways to get in touch with nature. And it’s accessible to all, even if you have just one night free! You might not even need a tent!
Get started with camping
Camp out in your own back yard. Pitch a tent and sleep outside… safe in the knowledge that a decent bathroom is right inside!
If you don’t have a tent yet there are plenty of affordable options. And some even ‘pop-up’, so you don’t have to faff around with tent poles!
Camo and rainbow colours are options too… just sayin’.
A little more camping
Rent a camper van or RV and drive as far as you dare. Pull up at a spot with a view and sleep the night in the peace and quiet. Wake up the next morning and watch the beautiful sunrise over your chosen view.
Camper vans are available to hire almost anywhere in the world. Plenty of space for two to sleep, and many even come with a mini cooker to fry your breakfast eggs!
Maximum camping adventure!
Head out to the middle of nowhere, where light pollution doesn’t exist. Sleep under the stars without a tent, gazing up at the Milky Way. Feel the gentle breeze on your face as you drift off to the land of nod.
I love sleeping outside without a tent so much that I wrote a whole post about it a while back: Why sleeping outside (without a tent) is the best thing ever
